An Open Letter to the Community:

Thank you for visiting the digital home of the Middlesex Fire Department. Please take some time and look around! We encourage you read about your fire department's fire apparatus and equipment. You can also go on a virtual tour of the fire station.

Founded in 1942, the Middlesex Fire Department's mission is to provide fire protection, rescue, disaster and emergency medical first response services to our operating territory. The purpose of this digital home is to increase awareness of the organizations that make up the Middlesex Fire Department. Read more about our organizations in about us.

For many of you visiting, it may be the first time you have ever thought about the people, your neighbors, that respond to the fires, motor vehicle crashes and medical emergencies that happen every day.

What makes the Middlesex Fire Department such a valuable resource to the community is it's volunteers. Our fire department is entirely volunteer. The department currently consists of about 8 active firefighters, YES! just 8. We are in a crisis and this is simply not enough! We are in need of new members, all you need is a desire to help a neighbor.

No one that joins us is any different from you!

Won't you consider joining us?

The Middlesex Fire Department is proud to offer a new life safety training program to our residents.

The Middlesex Fire Department is offering free fire extinguisher training to area residents, businesses and area social organizations.

Participants will receive classroom training followed by live fire, hands-on, training using a BullEx I.T.S. fire extinguisher simulator training system.
